Back in 2017, Michelle Harris was booking so many weddings under M Harris Studios, she found herself facing a bittersweet dilemma: couples were in love with her signature editorial style, but her calendar was already packed. Turning them away? Not an option. Michelle knew there had to be a better way.

So, she built one.

Instead of saying no, she said, “Why not multiply the magic?” With her signature attention to detail and unwavering dedication to quality, she began carefully building a second brand—designed to deliver the same luminous, magazine-worthy wedding photography at a more accessible price point.

And the name? That came easy.

At the time, Michelle’s daughter Laila had a camera in her hands and big dreams in her heart—telling anyone who would listen that she wanted to be a photographer just like her mama. Inspired by her daughter’s spark, Michelle named the new studio after her: Laila Chanel Studios.

More than a business, it became a legacy in motion—born from the belief that every couple deserves stunning photos, and that women can build empires while raising daughters who dream even bigger.

Today, Laila Chanel Studios continues to grow—serving Atlanta couples with style, soul, and the kind of elegance that never goes out of fashion.
